Half Marathon

Half marathon participants will start from the Stenger parking lot and head south to connect with the Van Bibber Creek Trail. After making a right-hand turn (westbound), they'll run about 2.5 miles to reach the first turnaround point on this double out-and-back, two-lap course. From there, runners will head east, turn around, and pass the northbound section to begin their second lap (and set your Strava lap point). After completing the eastbound section for the second time, they'll head toward the finish line. There will be 10 fueling stations and 4 toilets along the route to keep you fueled and refreshed.

10K

5K

Penguin Waddle

The Penguin Waddle, designed for our young athletes, is a special fun run (0.1 mi) to support Penguins International. The course will go from the start/finish line to the point just before the course turns, then back. 100% soft asphalt. The winner gets a special prize from Penguins International!

Aid Stations

Aid stations have Superganix CBD balm samples on-demand and will feature Gatorade (lemon-lime, orange, or fruit punch) and Gu energy gels in raspberry lemonade

Venue location

Stenger Soccer Complex, 11200 W 58th Ave, Arvada, 80002

You must enter only from the Quali St./58th Ave intersection (see the green star in the image below). 

Parking

No worries about parking! Athletes & spectators park in the west lot, in blue in the image to the right. The venue parking lot will be locked at 1p, after the last athlete has finished. Do not leave your vehicle at the venue after you finish the event.

Spectators

This course is perfect for spectators! There's a spot that half marathon athletes will pass three times and 5K and 10K athletes once before they head to the finish line. It's a short walk from the venue, and it shown by a green circle in the image to the right.

Spectators can also use the button to the right for a downloadable Google map of the course to help identify where you will be during the event.
